Digital Transformation

Retire the legacy without stopping the business.

Big-bang rewrites fail loudly and expensively. The system you are replacing has years of undocumented behaviour encoded in it, and the only safe way to find out what matters is to move one capability at a time.

We put a boundary around the old system, migrate a slice, run both in parallel until the numbers reconcile, then move the next one. Every step is reversible. It is a deliberately boring approach, and it ships on ordinary Tuesdays.

You probably need this if

  • 01A core system only one contractor understands
  • 02A previous replacement project that was cancelled mid-flight
  • 03Infrastructure costs rising faster than the workload behind them
AApproach

How we run this work.

01

Slice by slice

The strangler pattern, applied properly: new capabilities land in front of the legacy system, traffic shifts gradually, and the old path is removed only once nothing calls it.

02

Every step reversible

Feature flags, dual writes and reconciliation reports mean any slice can be rolled back within minutes. Nobody has to bet the quarter on a weekend cutover.

03

Your team drives by the end

Pairing, runbooks and enablement sessions are part of the engagement. Success is your engineers operating the new platform without us on the call.

BDeliverables

What you actually receive.

Not a summary of activity. These are artefacts that exist, that you own, and that another engineer could pick up.

01Current-state system, data and dependency audit
02Target architecture and sequenced migration plan
03Incremental cutover using the strangler pattern
04Data migration with reconciliation reporting
05Cloud landing zone defined as infrastructure-as-code
06CI/CD, observability and alerting
07Runbooks and team enablement sessions

Typical stack

Chosen per project against your constraints, your team’s existing skills and what you already run in production — never from habit.

Two lines about the problem is enough. You will get a range, the assumptions it rests on, and a recommendation on how to phase it.
